Dr. Brandon Davis has been working as a psychologist in Grinnell since 2004 and opened Davis Psychological Services, PC in 2011. He is an Iowa native who earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from Texas A&M University. He performs psychological evaluations and does therapy for adults. Dr. Davis believes that our patterns of thinking, which are formed when we are young, affect our emotions and how we interact with others. The development of emotional insight in therapy can lead to more awareness of faulty ways of thinking and improve relationships. Factors such as faith and friendships can do a lot to improve one's mental health and quality of life. Dr. Davis wants people to feel encouraged so they will naturally pursue growth and better health. He can offer therapy from a Christian perspective for any client who wants a Christian counselor.
